Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Instruction
Led by Matt Hall, who has taught in-person IPM certification courses for over five years, we offer comprehensive training in a variety of programs, including Industrial Vegetation & Noxious Weeds, Landscape General, Forestry Applicator, Agricultural Applicator, and Mosquito (Ground).
Our training emphasizes regulatory compliance, environmental safety, and practical, hands-on knowledge. We equip teams to manage vegetation responsibly and effectively across parks, rights-of-way, restoration areas, and urban landscapes.
These courses prepare and certify participants in accordance with British Columbia’s Integrated Pest Management Act, ensuring they meet all provincial requirements for pesticide application and vegetation management.
Matt has trained staff from municipalities such as the District of Saanich, City of Chilliwack, Town of Sidney, District of North Saanich, and Cowichan Valley School District, as well as numerous private companies. Whether you're looking to upskill your team or meet certification standards, we offer tailored training to suit your needs. Please contact us to book a session.
Restoration Knowledge Transfer
We believe restoration works best when knowledge is shared. Whether we're working with community volunteers, land stewards, or youth groups, we aim to make every project an opportunity for learning. Our team provides hands-on training in invasive species management, native plant identification, and restoration techniques—tailored to the needs and interests of each group.
We’re currently developing formal programs and workshops, but we already offer on-site guidance and skills transfer as part of our project work. Our goal is to build local capacity, foster ecological literacy, and support long-term stewardship through practical, place-based education.
